Well what a day!
We have been announcing the Blessing Bag Drop Off day for a while and the day finally came.
Location: Panera Bread on Lawrenceville Suwanee Rd, Georgia
Time: 8:00am-7:00pm.
We had posters set up, a donation jar, fairy lights, laptops, and high hopes. The pickup team consisted of Yariana, Noely, and I (Diana). Although Noely was not physically there, she was driving around picking up donations from friends (thanks for that Noely!). Our set up was behind the Christmas tree, and sure, maybe I shouldn't be in charge of picking the spot, but at 8:00am I thought it was alright. Later Yariana moved our little setup from behind the tree so more people could see (great idea Yari!).
Thank you to all who stopped to ask questions and who donated, thank you to all of you who came by to drop off your donations! Thank you to all who were praying for us and who are praying for this project and this mission, and thank you Panera Bread for giving us drinks after a long day, we really appreciate that kind gesture. We are truly blessed and thankful to be working alongside all of you. We believe that we can make a change in the world for the better, and this is just the start. We can't complete this mission without you.
So what happens next? Next we will take inventory of what we have collected, start packing these bags, and distribute them!
That being said, stay tuned for our blogs as we update you on what we have collected and how many lives you have touched with your donations. This is a team effort and we want you to see every moment, every smile, and every life that has been changed because you weren't afraid to give. May God bless you tenfold with love, peace, and joy.
P.S
If you still want to donate, you can click here and donate to either the Blessing Bags and or one of our other projects. It's never too late to give, change, and make a difference.
Sincerely Yours,
Diana Uribe
